  • SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT (COVID)
After assessing the risks we feel that sufficient time has passed for us to safely resume services because at-risk member test results have come back negative. We are overjoyed that the member who was impacted by COVID19 is doing remarkably well and is recovering without any foreseeable health impacts. God has been so kind to our church family.
  • Simple Answers on Baptism
Sometimes we struggle to know what we think about certain questions because all the noise of people’s opinions and human traditions drowns out the simplicity of God’s word. The purpose of this post is to let the truth of God’s word simplify the meaning of baptism for us.

Basic Beliefs

We believe in One God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – who created and sustains all things. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. We worship in spirit and truth with voices lifted up in acappella praise to the Lord. We share together as Christians every week in fellowship and the Lord’s supper as we remember the body and blood of Christ that was sacrificed for us on the cross. We follow the church model described in the New Testament. We believe that Jesus Christ alone is the universal head of the Church. We believe that there is only one Church body to which all God’s covenant children belong. Therefore, we believe that denominational divisions are harmful to the Church Jesus loves so much and that we should strive for unity in the bond of peace. We follow the pattern of discipleship described in the New Testament and believe that God has commanded everyone to repent and be baptized in the name of Christ for the forgiveness of sins. We only accept the teachings of Jesus Christ as authoritatively revealing the words of life to the children of God.
